Training offerings at Rock River Kennels

Rock River Kennels trains all breeds of hunting dogs specializing in the English Springer Spaniel and Working Retrievers. At Rock River Kennels, we have different training options. The three most popular methods are: Daily Sessions, Monthly and Group Sessions

Daily Sessions are one on one private sessions with you and your dog for approximately one hour. This method is best suited for those who wish to participate in training ones own dog. The kennel acts as a coach giving you specific drills and activities to work on between sessions. Daily Sessions are $50.00 plus birds.

Monthly training consists of leaving your dog at the kennel for a period of time ranging from one week up to 6 months. Monthly rates are $750/month or $25.00/day plus birds. Inquire about the 3 month price break. The three month program is a popular choice for the start of a good hunting dog and designed for people who wish to have a more professionally trained and polished hunting dog. Inquire about the field trial/hunt test rate.

Group Sessions are set up for owners and their dogs that are at the more advanced level. This will provide a different atmosphere for you and your dog while possibly doing brace work and honoring. It is an excellent opportunity for those training for Hunt Tests and Field Trials. Group Sessions are for the flushing spaniels and Retrievers. Group Sessions are $15.00 plus birds.
